Faux fur and riding boots for thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I am very excited! It's one of my favorite holidays. Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving with my husband's family at either his parent's house or my sister-in-law's or my brother-in-law's depending on whose hosting each year. This year we were supposed to spend Thanksgiving at my cousin's in Fort Drum NY. They just got back from deployment in Belgium for 3 years. Her and my niece visited us in the summer and we had so much fun. She invited us to spend Thanksgiving with them because she can't wait another summer to see us again. We were all so excited until the snow hit them with 12" deep and is still going. It's a bummer and sad but it's ok, there's always a next time!

Anyways, it hasn't been too cold in New England this fall season and I am loving it as I can still wear some pumps in the past couple of months. Today is actually the first day of this season at 48 degrees. So I decided to wear my riding boots that I got last year from Tory Burch. I styled with black faux leather pants I got a while ago, with this cashmere sweater from French Connection, scarf from a local store in Newburyport called Pretty Little Things, and this faux fur vest which is one of the new addition to my coat collection. Finishing the look with some accessories and purse.

At my husband's parent's house, it's always a little chilly. This whole outfit is just so comfy and it actually kept me warm. I'm obsessed with this faux fur vest and what better way to keep your feet and legs warm than riding boots and leg warmers? Carry on and rock those boots!!!

Remember: You don't need to be a model to walk the runway. You are the runway! All you need is confidence and a killer outfit to strut a mile in some stylish shoes!
